Jamie Deurmeier
Jamie Deurmeier (GHS class of 2000)
As a self proclaimed “creative dabbler,” Jamie enjoys learning and growing in many creative mediums and skills. Music, photography, and ceramics being her most prominent practices. Jamie is passionate about helping people find the courage to bring more play and creativity into their daily lives. She is a firm believer that all people have that creative spark, and practicing creativity in some form or another makes life more beautiful and fulfilling. She finds delight in helping foster community and connection through art and has been known to start meet-up groups around whatever creative hyper focus she might be on at the moment.

Graciela started her business in 2006 right before graduating from Cal Poly Pomona. Her landscaping business was established in Claremont and serves many local areas including Glendora. They provide design, installation, and maintenance service.
Grace Gaines
Born and raised in Glendora, Grace Gaines is currently a sophomore at Point Loma Nazarene University. She is majoring in International Studies, with a focus on migrant care, cross-cultural communication, and diplomacy.
Monica Garcia
Monica is the proud mother of three, with two children currently enrolled in Glendora Unified School District. Over the past decade, has has been actively involved in Glendora’ schools. In 2022, she was elected to the GUSD Board, making her the first Latina to hold this position.

Hi! I am Elizabeth Gonzalez, I am a 2026 senior at Glendora High School and I love writing or creating things in general. I am very interested in nature, religion, literacy, and the relationship between humans and our institutions; I’ll always argue that “If the world is an oyster, be the grit that disturbs it into making something beautiful”.

Vivian is a rising senior at Glendora High School, where she was a Feature Page Editor for the Tartan Shield during the 2024-25 school year. As a member of Glendora Together, Vivian hopes to carry out her mission of creating safe spaces for important conversation that inspire change.

Sanvi is in the class of 2026 at Glendora High School, and is a member of the Glendora High school yearbook team. She also participates as a member of the Glendora High School debate team and dedicates lots of time for her hobbies and extracurriculars.Sanvi enjoys digital painting, volunteering, martial arts, and listening to music.
