I believe that we should all love our neighbors. Regardless of the color of their skin, or whom they love, or their gender identity, or any other parameters we can use to divide ourselves into sad, lonely little pieces. Now, you may hear the people on the news and the politicians tell you, “Fear your neighbor! They will steal from you, they will hurt you, they will corrupt your children!”. Do not listen, for there is one thing that they choose to leave out. The people they tell you to fear and hate with such rigor, they are your neighbors. They are just as human as you. They go through the same hardships as you, pay the same expenses as you, walk the same streets, and send their children to school in the same place as you. They are a member of your community, unlike the news anchors and politicians. They are the ones who go to church and go shopping and do a million other things, just like you. They are the ones who will have your back.

            So listen to the word of God, and Love Thy Neighbor.
